Welcome to your home away from home in Raleigh! This newly remodeled 1330 sq. ft. brick home is centrally located and perfect for resting after exploring the city.

The modern, family-friendly home boasts a fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, a convection oven, and gas stovetop with 4 burners and a griddle burner. The family dining room has a table that seats 8 and there's a laundry center in the kitchen.

The upstairs guest space features 3 bright and comfortable bedrooms, including a king-sized bed, queen-sized bed, double bed, twin bed, and a twin sleeper sofa. Each bedroom has a Roku TV, room darkening curtains, extra seating, a chest of drawers, clothes bar in the closet, and extra blankets. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a 4 ft. by 4 ft. shower, while the second bathroom in the hallway features a tub/shower.

Enjoy the multi-level decks and brick patio, complete with two fire features, a fish pond, and seasonal garden. Perfect for coffee in the morning or sharing a meal outside, these outdoor spaces are beautifully lit at night. The backyard is spacious enough for stretching out, while a Pack and Play, crib sheets, high chair, and baby safety gate are available for families.

Located in a calm and safe family-friendly neighborhood, the property is just 15 minutes from downtown Raleigh, PNC Arena, Dorothea Dix Park, and the NC State Fairgrounds and Farmer's Market. Within a mile or two of the house, guests will find plenty of shopping and dining options, including Sam's Club, At Home store, Lowe's, Food Lion, and Walmart Supercenter.

Guests are welcome to park in the driveway and access the upstairs of the house through the front door. The hosts live downstairs when they're in Raleigh, while guests have full access to the upstairs living room, kitchen, and dining room. The front porch and driveway are well-lit, and guests can enjoy access via a smart lock.

Getting around

Our location offers easy access to public transportation with the bus line just a few blocks away. Downtown Raleigh is only an 8-minute drive from our place, where you can find the Duke Energy Center and Red Hat Amphitheatre, the Convention Center, and the State Farmers Market. NC State University is also just a few miles from downtown. The inner belt (440) line is only 1.5 miles away, and it's only a 10-minute drive to Carter Finley Stadium, PNC Arena, and the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. The outer belt line (540) is 5 miles away, and it takes only 15 minutes to reach RDU Airport and the Research Triangle Park. There are plenty of shopping options nearby, including three Walmarts within 5 miles and the Triangle Town Center Mall. You can find large chain restaurants within 5 miles, as well as many local ones. If you're looking to explore beyond Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Knightdale, and Morrisville are just a 20-minute drive away. We are a couple with four children and a love for the Smoky Mountains. We are developing a hospitality business in the Smoky Mountains, including luxury cabins, small cabins, and a glamping campground (HospitableHomes.com) We have a passion for travel; having explored Mexico and Central and South America, we aspire to visit Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean. Our homeschooled children go with us wherever we go. As followers of Jesus, we believe in the Biblical principle of hospitality and aim to embody it in our business and personal lives. We like the out of doors but hate the heat. We should probably live in Alaska. We try to live life to its fullest with our kids in tow.

House Rules

- Send us a picture of your government ID within 24 hours of your booking. It is a security measure and we require it for all bookings at this property. -Include all guest's names and contact phone number. We like to know who will be staying. Any person not included in the booking is not allowed to stay the night. Adding guests is easy, so just ask if you need help with this. -We love our neighbors, so we like to keep it quiet after 10: 00 pm. and before 7 am. - No parties, music outside, people not listed on the reservation, or coming and going throughout the night. While we do not permit parties, networking, or pregaming, or events but we often host friends or family who are meeting up. Raleigh is a great place to meet and relax. - We are unable to accommodate smokers or those who vape, or who use recreationally inhaled vapors. There is no smoking or use of recreationally inhaled products inside the house or on the deck, stairs, landing, backyard, side yard, brick patio, driveway or front yard of the house. If you or any of your guests smoke anywhere on this property, your reservation will be terminated and you will be asked to leave immediately, and you may be subject to a $200 fee. The outside of the house is under video surveillance. - Just treat our home like you would yours, with care and attention! - Accidents happen. Should anything break or get stained (e.g., coffee cup hits the floor or lipstick on towels), just let us know and leave a few dollars on the counter before you leave. We understand and it's okay. Please do not take the clothes hangers, towels, pillows, or linens. - We are easy to get along with and very approachable. It is not a bother to us for you to ask for help, advice, or directions. If there is anything that we may be able to do for you please ask. -Our family is in and out of Raleigh. When in town, we live downstairs and have a separate entrance. Payment Policy

Full payment is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel anytime 31 days or more from the time of your reservation and we will be glad to refund your payments. It may be necessary to refund you via check, as a credit card refund may not be possible.
Canceling 30 days or closer to your reservation forfeits any payments made. If we are able to replace your booking with another one, we will be glad to refund the nightly rate and the cleaning fee when we receive the payment for the new booking.
